Ceramics
All Studio Carolanne ceramics are handcrafted with care in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Due to the construction of products by hand and the nature of the materials used in construction, you understand and agree that the dimensions of products listed are approximate. You assume the risk that purchased products will have slight differences in finish, colour, tone, texture, or precise measurements from the ones depicted by Studio Carolanne. Handcrafted products are irregular by nature and variations are not considered defects. Major variations, if any, are noted in product descriptions. All prices stated on the Studio Carolanne website are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Shipping
All orders are shipped using Chit Chats, a postal service that encompasses multiple couriers for Canada, US, and international destinations.
Standard processing time for all ‘ready to ship’ orders is approximately 1-5 business days.
Standard processing time for all ‘made to order’ orders is approximately 4-6 weeks in addition to estimated delivery times, if applicable.
A shipping confirmation with a tracking number will be provided once your order is on the way.
Shipping and delivery times are estimated at checkout and depend on your location. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and shipping may exceed estimates due to factors outside of our control.
Unfortunately, Studio Carolanne cannot be held responsible for items marked as delivered that are lost or stolen. Please follow the carrier’s support page.
Unfortunately, Studio Carolanne cannot be held responsible for undelivered items due to no secure drop-off locations, full receptacles, oversized item, or similar environments that do not allow the carrier to fulfill the delivery. Customers wishing to reattempt delivery for returned items must pay additional shipping charges. Customers wishing to cancel their order once it has been returned to Studio Carolanne may receive a refund on the item but will not receive a refund on the cost of shipping (original and return).
Unfortunately, Studio Carolanne cannot be held responsible for undelivered items due to incomplete or incorrect address information given at the time of checkout. If you believe your address information is incomplete or incorrect, please contact Studio Carolanne as soon as possible and before a tracking number is provided. Customers wishing to correct the address of the returned order must pay for additional shipping charges. Customers wishing to cancel their order once it has been returned to Studio Carolanne may receive a refund on the item but will not receive a refund on the cost of shipping (original and return).
In the unlikely event that an item is damaged during shipping, please contact Studio Carolanne directly upon its discovery. A photograph of the damage within its wrapping will need to be sent to arrange a refund or replacement. A refund or replacement will not be considered without this photograph. Keep all wrapping, packaging materials, invoices and the damaged item, as they may be required to process the claim.
Local Pickup Option
Studio Carolanne offers a local pickup option instead of shipping. Select this option at checkout if you would like to pick up your order at 1655 Dupont Street, Toronto, ON M6P 3S9. Pickup instructions will be shared once your order has been confirmed. Pickup times are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, closed Sundays and statutory holidays.
Returns & Exchanges
All purchases are final sale. Returns and exchanges are not accepted at this time. Items cannot be canceled once a shipping confirmation or pickup instructions have been sent by Studio Carolanne.
Care of Ceramics
All items are food safe and made with non-toxic materials unless stated otherwise. Hand washing is recommended to properly care for your pieces.
Although we hope your ceramics have a long happy life in your home, accidents happen and ceramics can break. In the event of a broken piece, please handle it with care so as to not injure yourself. Research your area’s local recycling policy to know how to properly dispose of the broken item. For example, the City of Toronto recommends wrapping “sharp edges with thick or multi-layered material (e.g. paper, cardboard, soft plastic, fabric) before placing in the Garbage Bin.”
Prop Rentals
Rental of products depicted on this website depend on available stock at the time of inquiry. Rental fees are based on 20% of the retail cost per item, per one (1) week. Please contact us for more details.
