Hi, I’m Carolanne!
I'm an artist & designer working with clay in Prince Edward County, Ontario. I explore mold-making, slipcasting, and wild clay. I share much of my process through videos on Instagram, TikTok, and soon, Youtube.
I first connected with clay as a kid (as many do!) but really delved into it while completing my undergraduate degree in Environmental Design at OCAD University (B.Des, 2015). I took an elective exploring architectural ceramics & mold-making and have continued to explore the medium since, in community studios and eventually in my own studios in Toronto and now PEC.
Currently, my main interests are in the possibilities of lighting using thinly-cast porcelain.
